Always have something to look forward to

Research shows that much of the joy of vacations and other events is just planning them and having something to look forward to. I spend much time ruminating over the past, and wish to think more of the present. To plan for an ever-better future.

Lately I've been making many plans regarding a change in environment and they fill me with excitement. Where to live, where to travel. Who I will spend time with.

Always have something to look forward to. Even just a social event on your calendar at the end of the week can make the week more bearable.

More and more, I want to be excited about what's in store. And I'm excited over the fact that I'm in control of what's in store. It is up to me to take the steps. Lately even more, people have helped me see that what's blocking me is not external factors, but my own mindset.
