More about me
Interests
Iโm a lifelong learner whoโs endlessly curious about the world. A few topics I dive deep into are:
๐ง Evolutionary psychology
I adore the work of Dr. Doug Lisle and Dr. Jen Howk, who translate evo-psych research into clinical practice through their Esteem Dynamics approach. Their Beat Your Genes podcast changed my life.
๐ Self-improvement
Some favorite productivity thinkers: Cal Newport, Greg McKeown
๐ฑ Whole-food plant-based lifestyle aka yes Iโm vegan. I support your personal dietary choices too :)
๐ด Being in nature
I worked in community-based agriculture projects in Hawaii for half of 2018. The entire time, I lived in cabins and tents on off-grid farms and zero-waste communities. Taking a leave from college to do this was one of the most transformative experiences Iโve had.
Experiences
Some are on LinkedIn. Tidbits: I worked in research, engineering a scanning electron microscope, content strategy/UX writing in the tech industry, some counseling grad school
Not on LinkedIn: creative experiences which are listed more on my art website, the number of tennis balls I can juggle (allllmost 4)
Favorites
๐ต Music genre: Indie, alternative, anything happy!
๐ผ Instrument: Guitar ๐ธ Played & forgotten the piano & ukelele. Favorite instrument Iโve ever attempted is the harp ๐ชฝ
